Jordan Brand’s push into boot-inspired footwear continues this fall with the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low “Workboot.” Serving as a direct follow-up to the “Flax” edition, this rugged blacked-out version carries the same DNA but swaps the familiar wheat tones for a stealthier street finish.
While the silhouette remains the same—with its exaggerated platform sole and low-cut Jordan 1 frame—the execution feels more tactical this time around. The upper is dressed entirely in black tumbled leather, with sharply contrasted bronze stitching outlining the panels. Matching rope laces, tongue tags, and bronze Nike Air branding keep the utilitarian aesthetic intact. A grid-embossed rubber midsole wraps the entire base, echoing classic workboot designs while elevating the sneaker—literally and stylistically.
Underfoot, the outsole features aggressive traction ideal for wet city streets, while the back is finished with gold Wings insignias that lend a luxe finish to this otherwise industrial take. Other details include the branded brass toe plates up front and a Jumpman-stamped heel tread—both reinforcing the elevated-meets-workwear concept.
This marks the second women ’s-exclusive Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low to surface for Fall 2025, and while neither it nor the “Flax” colorway has a confirmed release date, both appear to be timed perfectly for colder weather.
Expect the Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low “Workboot” to land at Nike.com and select Jordan retailers in Fall 2025.
