The Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard" Releasing as Golf Mule

The Air Jordan 1 continues to push boundaries beyond the court and into lifestyle and sport crossovers. One of the latest examples is the Jordan 1 Golf Mule, which now surfaces in the iconic “Shattered Backboard” colorway.

This reimagined take on the 1985 silhouette strips down the design into a slip-on mule format, balancing casual wear with on-course function. The upper sticks to the familiar formula of black overlays, Starfish orange toe boxes and heel counters, and sail leather panels, nodding directly to the original “Shattered Backboard” releases that have become staples in Jordan Brand’s catalog.

For golfers, the pair incorporates modified tooling for performance on the course, including a spikeless traction outsole done up in Starfish orange for grip and stability. Jordan Golf branding appears on the tongue label, replacing the traditional Air Jordan insignia while maintaining the classic Jumpman logo. The mule design makes it easier to slip on and off without sacrificing the premium feel of the leather build.

The Jordan 1 Golf Mule “Shattered Backboard” will release soon on Nike.com and at select retailers.
