As part of an early 2020 special project, Jordan Brand unleashed four wild player-exclusive editions of the Air Jordan 1 High for their affiliated colleges. Oklahoma, UNC, Michigan, and Florida all received safari and croc-covered pairs that assume their respective college colors. Since then, we’ve seen a supplementary college pair for Georgetown that was cut from the same cloth, with now another college PE appearing today — an Air Jordan 1 for the Marquette Golden Eagles — and it’s said to be the rarest yet.
Like the other schools, Marquette’s pair arrives with premium leather unders, safari textured toes, collars, and heel overlays, while exotic croc covers the throat, lacestay overlays, and to caps. Joining the blue, white, and maize palette are tongue and insole branding hits to make these unmistakably Golden Eagles-bred.
Take in a detailed look at the pair below courtesy of English Sole, and with these only limited to only 40 pairs, you should expect to pay a mint to get these into your collection.
