Drops 30 Mar 2024
Launching in 2023, Jordan Brand unveiled its novel Craft Series. This specially curated footwear collection artfully transforms iconic Air Jordan models by manipulating diverse materials and pigments. A far cry from conventional general releases, this range showcases upscale aesthetic sensibilities while maintaining a degree of exclusivity. The Air Jordan 1 has been a big proponent of the concept through the "Skyline" edition and the "Vibrations of Naija" variant and will continue to do so throughout 2024, as another entrant has emerged, the Air Jordan 1 High OG Craft "Ivory"
The majority of the Craft Jordan 1's upper is swathed in a serene "Sea Glass" grey-green tone, aligning it with other grayscale releases slated for the same period. Contrasting elements grace the shoe's profiles and heel, introducing spring-friendly shades of "Pale Ivory" and "Coconut Milk." This subdued color palette departs from bold and vibrant iterations, signaling a shift towards high-quality craftsmanship over flashy color-blocking.
Beneath the shoe, the Craft Jordan 1 maintains its cohesive color scheme, with midsoles featuring a unique speckled detail that hints at the use of recycled materials in the construction process. The off-white sole unit harmonizes with the foam tongue, creating a distinct "Neo-vintage" aesthetic that's both timeless and eco-conscious.
Pairs of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Craft "Ivory" are currently expected to his retailers on March 30, 2024 — in men's sizing — for $180.
