Air Jordan 1 High “Multi-Color” Coming Holiday 2021
Despite an overwhelming consensus that the Air Jordan 1 is overdone, the silhouette continues to sell out at every opportunity. Colorways like last weekend’s “University Blue” and the preceding “Hyper Royal” are universally loved, while others — like next week’s “Patina” — are drawing some skepticism. The next to appear will likely fall into the latter category, with a gaudy, seemingly random-blocked Air Jordan 1 High “Multi-Color” for the Fall/Holiday schedule.
Revealed today by sneaker sleuth @zSneakerhadz, the pair presents in a traditional leather construction anchored in a crisp white base. From there, we find black leather collars and Checks to match the tongues and outsoles, while each overlay indulges in its own unique hue. Toes and ankle flaps opt for a mocha brown, while lacestays seek out an olive finish. Maroon heel caps add turbulence to the otherwise uniform design, and it appears that a slight marron bleed is also applied to the rear-end of the white mid-panel. If that’s wasn’t enough of a head-scratcher, there’s also an intriguing inclusion of bicolor black/Infrared laces, with the latter hitting the tongue tags, too. Finally, the pair is completed by a protruding 3D Wings logo at the ankle.
Regardless of the overall aversion to the mock-up, we’re tipping that these will sell out later this year, because what Jordan 1 doesn’t? Stay tuned for first in-hand looks at the pair and further details on its arrival with updates added here to our official Twitter account over the course of the year.
