Air Jordan 1 High OG “Patent Royal” Sample Surfaces

With the hype surrounding the impending release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Patent Bred”, it would make sense that Jordan Brand would want to keep the ball rolling on the often divisive material. Perhaps, just maybe, we’ll be getting a follow-up release, with the surfacing of a sample Air Jordan 1 High “Patent Royal” through internet channels this week.

Naturally, as with any uncredited leak, this sample should be taken with a grain of salt. But it does pose a question — would you cop another OG Air Jordan 1 in patent leather? Of course you would. It’s not a foreign concept and the material has shown time after time that, despite very vocal antagonists, the releases always sell out. December’s Patent Bred will be no exception. So if Jordan Brand were to release the OG Royal in a super shiny build, we’d expect much of the same.

This design is also not a foreign concept to us, either, having graced our Concept Lab back in early 2019.

At this stage, details surrounding the pair are not yet known, but we’re sure that more details will come to light soon.
