Where to Buy the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Reverse Laney”

Recycling, repurposing, or rejigging classic colorways seems to be the modus operandi for Jordan Brand in 2023, with several reworks already in the works for the year. From twists on OGs like the Reimagined Air Jordan 3 “White Cement” to the Air Jordan 8-inspired Air Jordan 5 “Aqua”, the brand has made it its mission to honor its own heritage. Joining that assignment is this new ladies-exclusive Air Jordan 1 High OG “Reverse Laney” as it borrows and inverts the 2013 release inspired by Mike’s old High School (pictured below)

Sneaker sleuth @zSneakerheadz has delivered information on the release, confirming that the pair will be fairly close to a complete inversion, though not exactly a straight negative of the release. For 2023’s ladies-exclusive, you can expect to see Varsity Maize uppers with overlays of Varsity Royal, atop a sail and blue sole. It’s tipped to have white tongues — though don’t be surprised if they’re yellow, too — blue lining, and yellow Wings motifs. There’s also word of a special woven tongue finish.

2013’s Air Jordan 1 High OG “Laney”

Expected to arrive in extended women’s sizing (to 14W/12.5M), the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Reverse Laney” is currently set to release on February 17th. If you can’t wait for the drop, then you can scoop up pairs now from select aftermarket sites like Flight Club and GOAT.
