Another original colorway of the Air Jordan 1 is set for a luxurious makeover using satin material with the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Satin Shadow."

This concept, first introduced in 2016 with the Air Jordan 1 “Satin,” drew inspiration from the flight jackets Michael Jordan famously wore in early Nike print ads. The unique and elegant finish of these sneakers captivated fans, leading to the material’s use in several women’s exclusives, including the “Black Toe,” “Shattered Backboard,” and the recent “Satin Bred.”

The “Satin” series is now set to expand with the addition of the “Shadow” colorway, a beloved design initially released in 1985. While an actual first look at the shoes is yet to be revealed, the construction and materials are anticipated to mirror those of 2023’s “Satin Bred" closely. The primary difference is expected in the color scheme, with Medium Grey likely replacing the red accents.

Slated for release on October 5th, 2024, the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Satin Shadow." is expected to maintain an MSRP of around $180. This upcoming release is more than just a new iteration of a classic; it's a fusion of heritage and contemporary luxury, offering a fresh take on a time-honored silhouette.
