The Air Jordan 1 “Unité Totale” is Available Now!
While the Air Max 98 draws inspiration from the host nation’s traditional navy strip, this Air Jordan 1 arrives inspired by the all-new alternate uniforms (pictured further below), which feature an all-over navy polka dot print on white, seen here on the Air Jordan 1’s throat, through the translucent outsole and printed on the insoles — the latter, however, is modified to hexagon shapes, paying tribute to the shapes found on a traditional soccer ball. The iconic French Footballing phrase featured on both the men and women’s uniforms, Nos Differences Nous Unissent — translating to Our Differences Unite Us — hits the heels, and completing the link-in to the French kits are bronze Jumpman embellishments that mimic the uniform’s national crest and Swoosh branding. From a material standpoint, Jumpman has utilized a buttery tumbled leather across the upper and overlays, with nylon on the aforementioned Polka-dotted throat. Patent leather Swooshes and heel overlays add a subtle touch of sauce, and the pair is caped off with sport-like mesh on the tongues and icy blue translucent outsoles.
