Known equally for its experimentation as it is for its simplicity, the Air Jordan 1 Low has shown several iterations in 2021 from all ends of the spectrum. This upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Deep Royal” leans somewhat towards the latter, utilizing a simple solid-color base with minimal branding and refined elevations against not-so-subtle strikes of white.

This premium womens-exclusive pair sports a butter-soft leather construct in the titular blue hue, with debossed branding at the tongue, heel, and medial eyestay — all of which come finishes in luxe leathers, too. Laces follow the lead of the leather, whilst liners look to a lavender-grey leather to match the liners and insoles. A bold white Swoosh and midsole combo demands the most attention from the viewer, piercing the eye in streak contrast before returning to blue rubber tread underfoot to complete the design.
