Always a platform for experimentation, the Air Jordan 1 Low often sees itself subject to some trial-and-error efforts, from animal prints and leathers to more recent tests with mismatched panels and patterned textiles. The next-to-surface pair aligns with all of those characteristics, pairing a concoction of faux leathers, hi-gloss galaxy prints, colorful palates and glow-in-the-dark soles for one of the most audacious offerings on the Low to date.
Here, a base white leather is overlayed with faux black snakeskin a the toe and eyelets, with matching black nylons on the tongue and liners providing the pair’s tamest components. From there, things get a little out of hand, with color-cracked and splattered toe boxes, and lightning/galaxy prints hitting the glossy heel overlays, collars, and Swooshes. Special branding arrives on both the tongues and insoles, the latter flecked with green splatters, and the pair is completed with glow-in-the-dark outsole.
A release date did not accompany the official photos below, but you can expect this Galaxy/Snake Air Jordan 1 Low to hit select retailers and Nike.com in the coming weeks. As always, stay tuned into our official Twitter account for further updates.
