The Original Air Jordan 1 Low "Chicago" Returns as Golf Spikes
Jordan Brand continues to celebrate Michael Jordan's long-standing love of golf by reimagining popular Air Jordan basketball shoes for the green. The latest sees the original "Chicago" Air Jordan 1 Low as a spiked golf shoe.
Last seen in 2022, the reworked hoops model from 1985 now sees a more aggressive tread setup than previous offerings. The midsole, then, also sees tweaks, abandoning the original design crafted by Peter More over 40 years ago. The update enhances the low-top silhouette's performance across 18-holes.
As its "Chicago" moniker suggests, the spiked golf shoe sees a red, white, and black color scheme inspired by the Chicago Bulls' signature tones. Most overlays throughout the upper indulge in ruby-colored flair, while base layers keep things clean in white. Profile swooshes and Wings insignias on the spine deviate in pitch-dark finishes. Lastly, Jumpman logos on the tongue label are accompanied by "Golf" messaging, positioning MJ's on-court legacy with golf.
Enjoy official photos of the "Chicago" AJ1 golf shoe ahead. Pairs should release via Nike.com/Jordan on May 1st.
