Another "New Beginnings" Look Lands on the Air Jordan 1 Low
Jordan Brand has been going all-out with the Air Jordan 1's 40th anniversary. In addition to returning Mike's first signature model to original form, the company has also reimagined the shoe in a number of new styles.
Ahead of spring, the Nike, Inc. sub-label has unveiled an Air Jordan 1 Low in a two-tone 'Red/White' makeover. While reminiscent of the high-top silhouette's inaugural 'Chicago' look, the newly-surfaced pair is most similar to the New Beginnings edition of the sneaker from 2020. Launched as a two-pair pack, the 'New Beginnings' launch told the story of the Nike Air Ship and Air Jordan 1, reverting the original 'Chicago' makeup across both shoes.
Previously, the lifestyle-focused Jordan 1 Low emerged in a 'Gym Red/White' color scheme near-identical to the 'New Beginnings' capsule. Another option covered in the duo recently surfaced, but with more 'White' contrast on the tongue and Wings logo at the heel. The remainder of Peter Moore's design from the mid-1980s follows the same guideline set by the 5-year-old retro.
Enjoy official photos of the low-top Air Jordan below. The two-tone style is likely to hit Nike.com before summer with a price tag of $125.
