Jordan Brand is in the midst of its 40th anniversary. To celebrate the occasion, the Nike, Inc. sub-label has prepped a slew of new products–including Kids' Air Jordan 1 Low retros.

Although the lifestyle-oriented silhouette has formed part of the brand's lineup since #23's earliest years in the NBA, it's become a go-to option for kids of all ages over the last few years. The latest pair to surface keeps things simple in color-blocking, but forms part of a larger Sneaker School series, which seemingly attempts to teach newer generations about the figure behind the Jumpman.

A predominantly 'White' look takes over the low-top Air Jordan, with hits of bold blue, shimmering silver, and faint neon green joining the mix. Ballistic nylon replaces traditional leather around the toe, as profile swooshes also take on an experimental plastic update. The reworked aesthetic plays into the collection's theme, which is best captured via the special packaging. The box's lid tells a story about Michael Jordan that's reiterated on the sneaker's midsole in other words: 'The Sky Is Not The Limit'.

Enjoy official photos of the Big Kids' retro ahead. The Sneaker School series should hit Nike.com throughout summer with prices ranging from $80 to $110, depending on sizing.
