A Classic "Bred" Style Appears on the Air Jordan 1 Mid

The Air Jordan 1 Mid has donned a plethora of styles since joining Nike, Inc.'s lineup of products. As the original design by Peter Moore continues to celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Mid has emerged in another 'Bred' colorway.

While far from a one-to-one recreation of the pair Michael Jordan laced up during his rookie year (for that, there's the impending Air Jordan 1 '85 'Bred'), the newly-released retro equally nods to the Chicago Bulls' iconic team colors. 'Black' and 'Varsity Red' hues divvy up real estate across the decades-old design, creating a product that's simultaneously refreshing and familiar. Wings insignias on the lateral ankle flap interrupt the two-tone makeover, as does the midsole underfoot with their 'White' finish. Nevertheless, the combination of tones are rooted in Jordan Brand legacy, delivering compelling product for a new generation.
