Jordan Brand Reinstate Retro Geometrics on this Red Patent Jordan 1 Mid
There’s an overall consensus that, despite the ridicule often thrown at the silhouette, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has been receiving significantly better colorways than its OG High-cut counterpart. While that statement is purely subjective, we can all agree that the Mid has been on the receiving end of some fairly bold iterations that the High would only dare dream of — and this next one no different.
Employing a bold white leather and red patent base, You’d think that the pair couldn’t get any more audacious. Wrong. The pair is set up for a colorful showing at the collar in a very familiar Jordan Brand pattern. The Geometric print made famous by the Air Jordan 7’s neoprene tongue and countless Jordan Brand apparel of the era returns here at the collar in a colorful yet deteriorated finish. Colors of white, gold, red, teal, and navy all feature as the pair’s champion, but that’s not to overlook the icy outsoles underfoot, either. The pair is then completed by simple red and white branding at the tongues and insoles, and it also arrives with an extra set of dark navy laces.
A release date for this extra-bold Air Jordan 1 Mid has not yet been announced, but you should expect to see pairs arrive over the Summer season.
