Air Jordan 1 Mid “Elephant Toe” Also Arrives in Adults Sizing

The Air Jordan 1 keeps on keeping on, with 2022 set to be yet another colossal year for Mike’s debut silhouette. With countless variations across multiple interpretations, it can be quite difficult to stand out amongst the pack. Despite this challenge, this new Air Jordan 1 Mid “Elephant Toe” rises above, thanks to striking contrast, a multi-material mix, and a colorway anchored deeply into the Jordan Brand DNA.

Set atop a supple black suede upper, the pair presents material-matched eyestay overlays and collars, with nylon tongues and laces following in hue. The pair is then met by multiple forms of leather across its overlays, from textured greys in the back, to smooth white leather Swooshes at the midfoot. The titular elephant print toes harken back to 1988’s Air Jordan 3, with red branding at the tongue and insoles also honoring the brand’s unofficial association with the Bulls. The pair is then completed by a simple white and grey sole unit underfoot.

While an official release date for this new retro-informed Air Jordan 1 Mid “Elephant Toe” has yet to be revealed, official images of the (kids) pair do suggest that a release won’t be too far away.
