France has had its fair share of tributed footwear over the past few years, from the epic Unité Totale collection to Kylian Mbappé’s Nike Air Max 98 to Jordan Brand’s connection with PSG. Now it’s time for some in-line releases, with this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Paris” bringing some French flair to Mike’s footwear line.
Naturally, the pair features the nation’s Tricolor hues of white, navy, and red, though its proportions are not delivered in typical doses — and there’s an included focus on grey hues, too. It’s white that’s the key player here with the bright pigment placed across the pair’s tumbled leather uppers, nylon tongues, and mesh collars. Liners, laces, and midsoles follow suit before cement greys come into play at the ankle flap overlay and outsole. The former is dressed with red-outlined Wings motifs in streak contrast to the thick-set blue suede Swoosh below. The pair is then completed by special Paris-branded tongue tags and insoles.
Take a peep at the beautifully-crafted Air Jordan 1 Mid “Paris” below, which are expected to roll out at select Jumpman cohorts shortly. We’ll keep you in the loop, though; Keep your eyes locked on our Jordan Release Dates Calendarand our Twitter Feedfor further updates on the drop!
