Official Looks at the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Purple Heel”

Mids make up a large bulk of both release and sales for Jordan Brand, in fact, it’s a lesser-known fact that the brand makes more money off Mids than it does off highs, thanks mainly to the sheer volume, afforability and widespread availability of the sneaker. And although the flow has always been fairly consistent, it seems like the Brand has put their foot on the gas in 2020, with new colorways appearing on a daily basis. One of today’s additions is similar to some we’ve seen before — this duo of Union-inspired Jordan 1 Mids, which will undoubtedly sell-out in seconds. This similarly-constructed release will cause problems on drop day, too, with the brand’s in-vogue purple hues making an appearance here across the heel, Wings, and outsole. The black overlays, which are textile on the Union-inspired duo, are swapped out for a plush suede, while collars revert to smooth leather. Elsewhere you’ll find much the same construction, including white leather ankle flaps, mid panels and toes, black liners and tongue and the brands go-to clean white midsole.
