The Air Jordan 1 Mid will once again be a strong player in Jordan Brand’s late Summer/Fall schedule, with countless new iterations already revealed for the seasons ahead. Now you can tack on one more to that list, with the revelation of this new multi-material Air Jordan 1 Mid “University Blue” for the months ahead.

Though the front end of the release is fairly straightforward — simple white and blue-blocking — its rear end and tongue provide the pair with some unique traits. Firstly, the tongue’s netted finish gives the pair an overly athletic feel, as to does a nylon collar that’s reminiscent of retro runners. From there, ankle flaps and heel caps are delivered in a light grey suede, complete with a University Blue Wings motif. The pair is then completed by a staple white and blue sole unit.

While a release date for this new Air Jordan 1 Mid “University Blue” has yet to be revealed, first looks at the pair would indicate that these would be scheduled for later this year.
