If it’s not evident by now, let me spell it out for you: There’s no stopping the Air Jordan 1 in 2022. Yes, yet another new iteration of the mid-cut marvel has appeared online today — the OG-flavored Air Jordan 1 Mid “Wear-Away”

A first look at the all-new colorway comes by way of sneaker-leaker @chickenwop_, who shows the aforementioned wear-away upper in post-scrub detail. Before it’s worn, the pair appears to boast an OG “Panda” blocking, with added sail midsoles that capitalize on the in-vogue aged-look aesthetic. Its white upper is met with black overlays, which appear to all wear away to a Chicago-themed red leather beneath. Given the blocking, you can wear the pair into a “Black Toe”, too.

Though not much else is yet known about the all-new Air Jordan 1 Mid “Wear-Away”, one would suspect that, with sample pairs now in production, a release is on the cards for the back-end of 2022.
