Jordan Brand and Nike will once again be celebrating the Day of the Dead in 2022 through a handful of stylized footwear designs, the first of which has appeared today — Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “Siempre Juntos” (Always Together) — by way of official Nike.com imagery.
Capturing the colorful essence of the festival, Jordan Brand has decored this mostly-neutral suede release with striking pops of magenta, orange, and green, across the Swoosh, collar, and tongue, each decorated with traditional floral prints. These prints then extend down to the suede mid panel to create a distinct separation between the upper’s all-beige build; the leather toe boxes are aiming for separation, too. Wings logos at the ankles and special heel details are bombarded with color to match the overarching theme before a return to subdued hues at the beige and yellow sole unit underfoot. The pair is then completed by a graphic insole that read “Siempre Juntos” (Always Together) as well as special-edition boxing.
