First reported over 12 months ago — and originally set to release in September 2020 — the Air Jordan 10 “Dark Mocha” never made its retail debut, nor did it even find its way to a first look. Many thought that the release was scrapped due to COVID-19 pushback, delays, and the uncertain financial climate, but just hours ago, sneaker-insider @zSneakerheadzsurprised us all with a very first look at the pair — and it comes via some official Nike.com imagery.

Originally listed as Dark Mocha/Infrared 23-Black, the pair has now reappeared with a fourth color addition — Prism Violet — thus throwing off former speculative mock-ups. Of course, the light browns, blacks, purples, and reds of the colorway have already sparked calls of “Travis Scott vibes” and it’s easy to see why. From the first look at the Air Jordan 10 “Dark Mocha”, you can see staple black leather tongues and uppers, with matching rubbers underfoot. The latter is both flecked and striped by the aforementioned purple hue, as is the tongue’s signature check liner. Overlays of the titular brown shade drape the profiles and toe boxes in soft nubuck-suede, and the pair is capped of with a striking red Jumpman motif at the heel.
