First Look // Air Jordan 10 “Wings”

For the past five years, the Jordan WINGS Scholars Program has been hooking up underprivileged youth with full-ride scholarships to college in North America and in Greater China. The Jumpman Brand has been eradicating the financial burdens that come with tertiary education for a select handful of applicants each year, the most recent being the Class of 2023, who earned their wings earlier this year. Aside from celebrating the program through editorial content, the brand also delivers an annual limited release that distributes proceeds directly to the scholarship fund. This year the brand embarks on its most unique Wings offering yet — this white and metallic silver Air Jordan 10 that comes popped with primary colors.

The pair arrives in a heavily tumbled leather, paired with metallic silver lateral overlays, white midsoles, and icy translucent outsoles. The green liners provide the bulk of the aforementioned color pops, but there is a multitude of hues also used at the added heel pull (pink, orange, green, yellow), and lining the pair’s overlays (pink, black, yellow, purple). Underfoot you’ll find a forest green Jumpman motif and “WINGS” branding peering through the clear outsoles, while further callouts to the program arrive on the added ankle tag. Completing the design are midsole marks, which look like they’ve been added with a blue Sharpie — their meaning? Only time will tell.

The Air Jordan 10 Wings is expected to arrive in the first half of 2020 — but we don’t yet have our hand on the specifics. Keep it locked on our Twitter Feed for any further updates, including a confirmed drop date and a comprehensive Where to Buy Guide for the release!
