Update 04.21.23 Official retail imagery for the Air Jordan 14 “Laney” has been loaded.

Original Post 08.31.22 When Jordan Brand get onto a good idea, they tend to run with it. Be it twisting OG colorways, running what seems to be now-annual “Flint” 13 releases, or turning Lows into Highs, when the brand finds a formula that works, it tends to stick around for a while. Now it seems that this year’s Air Jordan 14 “Light Ginger” has set a new series in motion, with another OG Air Jordan 14 Low colorway now reimagined as a Mid — the Air Jordan 14 “Laney”

Sneaker-insiders Sole Retriever is behind the leak, with the source suggesting that the pair will arrive as you’d expect it to, albeit a little bit higher in its ankle rise (as pictured above in mock-up form)

The pair was last released in 2015 with a true-to-form Low cut, but with a market more shifted to the Mid, it’s likely that these will obtain a high level of attention when it releases this year.

Of course, this isn’t the only high school-homaging release on the way in 2023, with the brand also set to release an Air Jordan 1 in team colors.

The Air Jordan 14 “Laney” is currently expected to arrive on May 27th, 2023.
