The Air Jordan 2/3 Returns in 'Sail/Earth'
Jordan Brand is in the midst of its 40th anniversary. To celebrate the occasion, the Nike, Inc. sub-label has placed a lot of its focus on the Air Jordan 1 and upcoming Air Jordan 40. Along the way, the team has found time to update models like the Air Jordan 2/3 with new colorways.
Michael Jordan never laced up the hybrid design during his NBA career, but the silhouette effectively combines two of his earliest signature sneakers. The Jordan 2/3 debuted in a Chicago Bulls-inspired look that surprisingly sold out upon release. Follow-up finishes to the mishmash design have deviated from any team uniform, opting for lifestyle-focused outfits instead. The silhouette's latest makeover keeps most things simple in a combination of 'White/Sail,' but details throughout the upper and sole unit enjoy brown 'Earth' contrast. The understated hue helps modernize #23's winning legacy for a new audience, showcasing Jordan Brand's ability to weave between performance and fashion.
Enjoy official photos of the Women's 'Sail/Earth' pair ahead. A Nike.com launch is expected by April for $160.
