Where to Buy the Air Jordan 3 “Court Purple”
There’s been a huge influence by league franchises on Jordan Brand over the past 18 or so months, with releases in team colors (other than the Bulls) releasing more frequently than ever before. We’ve had Knicks 3s, PE-inspired releases like Q-Rich’s Air Jordan 13s, Ray Allen’s 7s, and the upcoming Gary Payton Jordan 12 — even a four-franchise mash-up on the Air Jordan 2. But, for reasons unknown, Lakers colors have often been avoided. Strange, in that the Lakers are one of, if not the most supported NBA franchises on the planet. The brand finally caved in last year and gave us a Los-Angeles-like Air Jordan 13, and now it looks like we might be getting more, with a suspected Suns-inspired Air Jordan 3 “Court Purple” pegged for release. in November.
Originally thought tobe a Lakers-inspired colorway, the pair has since been revealed to possess some Phoenix flavor. Soft black tumbled leather uppers paid with strong Court Purple accents and subtle pops of vibrant orange pop off against piercing white midsoles and signature Cement Grey elephant prints across the pair. Un-piped tongues come equipped with 3D Jumpmen, while branding in the rear is spilt between purple and orange pigment.
