The Air Jordan 3 continues to emerge in new colorways for Jordan Brand's Spring 2027 lineup. Up next?: A "Purple Haze" retro exclusively for Women.

The release rumor arrives from X user @zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, and arrives as handfuls of Air Jordan retros have been teased for next year. The "Purple Haze" AJ3 is expected to feature an "Infinite Lilac/Multi-Color" color scheme across its build, with the former tone covering most of the upper and sole unit. As with other Women-exclusive sneakers from NIKE, Inc., it's possible that the pair ends up launching in sizing for Kids as well.

The Air Jordan 3 debuted in 1988. Therefore, its 40th anniversary takes place in 2028. Jordan Brand, however, is getting ahead of the milestone, promising Tinker Hatfield's first design for Michael Jordan in a number of heritage ("White Cement") and modern ("Neo Pink") styles throughout 2027. The "Purple Haze" look joins the latter group.

Stay tuned for official product shots ahead of the pair's anticipated Friday, April 3, 2027, release. The sneaker launches via Nike.com/Jordan for around $205.
