We could well be seeing the start of an annual tradition, with word today filtering through of a “Georgetown” Air Jordan 3 arriving for March 2021.

This would be the second year in a row that Jordan Brand delivers a college-themed Air Jordan 3 for March Madness, with this year’s “UNC” Jordan 3 originally aligned to the 2020 tournament that was later canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Next year, though, the tournament should go ahead as planned, and Jordan Brand will be adding a Hoyas-themed offering for the occasion. @SHOF reports that the pair is tipped to arrive in Midnight Navy/Cement Grey/White, indicating a classic “Black Cement” blocking. And with first looks at the pair still a long way off, we’ve whipped up a quick Photoshop to give you an idea of what to expect next year.

First looks at the Air Jordan 3 “Georgetown” aka “Midnight Navy” have arrived, courtesy of @zSneakerheadz — and, as expected, it looks to take heavy inspiration from the Hoyas PEs of years past, with tumbled navy leather uppers, grey accents and striking whites at the midsoles and laces completing the college colors. Pairs are expected to release in both Mens and GS sizing in March 2021.

A revised release date for the Air Jordan 3 “Georgetown” has been confirmed for March 20th — back to it’s expected March Madness release after reportedly shifting to January.
