First Looks // Air Jordan 3 "Lucky Shorts"

The Air Jordan 3, a silhouette that revolutionized the sneaker game with its visible Air unit and distinctive elephant print, continues to evolve while honoring its rich heritage. Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, this model introduced new design elements and cemented itself as a pivotal chapter in the Jordan Brand story.

For March Madness 2025, the Jordan Brand is set to enrich this iconic line by introducing the Air Jordan 3 "Lucky Shorts" colorway—an ode to Mike's alma mater and the UNC shorts he wore under his Bulls uniform during every NBA game, and often during practice.

First look at the design show an understated white leather construction, with supple grey suede in place of the toe and heel elephant prints, as well as the eyestay in-cut and collar. A sail-tinted sole sits below with matching grey rubber tread, while UNC blues color the heel counter, upper eyestays, and heel and tongue Jumpman branding.

Pairs of the Air Jordan 3 "Lucky Shorts" are expected to be released in February 22, 2025, a first official look at the pair below can be seen courtesy of EldenMonitors.
