Revealed as part of Jordan Brand’s All-Star Weekend releases, the Quilted Air Jordan 34 SE quickly garnered some attention due to its atypical uppers and Chicago-themed palette. The quilted leather shroud, profile zip systems, thick leather heel panels, and fatty tongue pulls give the modernized silhouette a retro Jordan signature feel, But there are also a few yet-to-be-seen details that will get the retro heads roaring.
Official images of the pair have revealed a few previously-hidden gems, including flipped “AIR JORDAN” heel branding, a-la the Air Jordan 4’s inner tongue, Michael Jordan’s signature scribed on the insoles, and the pièce de résistance: glazed-on branding hits from Jordan Brand’s past signature releases grace the shroud’s underside. We can spot callouts to the Air Jordan 3/4, Jordan 7, Jordan 8, Jordan 14, and Jordan 17 — and there’s bound to be more stowed further below.
