Futuristic flex.
All-Star Weekend 2019 is less than a month away, which means we’re about to see an influx of special edition kicks for the NBA’s biggest regular-season weekend.
You’ll be aware that Jordan Brand has already gone heavy on UNC-themed colorways for the weekend; pairs that pay homage to Mike’s Alma Mater being just down the road from 2019’s All-Star Weekend host venue. But their game shoe, which will likely be worn by Jordan Brand athletes in Kemba Walker and Victor Oladipo, are a little different. The pairs, which surfaced online yesterday, reveal a futuristic colorway of metallic silver and black with imagery of the galaxy on the insoles. Blue and red accents touch on the East/West affiliations, while special emblems appear on the inner side of the tongue pull-tabs.
The Air Jordan 33 “All-Star” is scheduled to arrive next Thursday, January 24th, and will likely be limited. As for where you can get your hands on these? We’ll keep you updated with a comprehensive Where to Buy guide over the coming days, so stay tuned for more. Until then, grab an official look at the release below!
