The Air Jordan 37 Jumps in on the Dongdan Streetball Celebration
Celebrated annually on the revered turf of Chinese streetball, the Sunset Dongdan tournament in Beijing receives full-scale recognition this year, courtesy of Jordan Brand. Already introduced in a low-top version, the Air Jordan 37 is set to join the ranks of upcoming footwear models paying tribute to this prestigious outdoor competition. Accompanying a harmoniously colored Air Jordan 5 Low and an Air Jordan 1 Nu Retro Low, the initial rendition of Jumpman's 37th lineal sneaker adopts an overarching application of deep black hues, enveloping the mesh and nylon upper, offset by pastel-tinted lilacs adorning the adjacent quarter overlay and mudguard.
Underneath, the summer-revered signature touch is rooted in the "Saturn Gold" speckling and the miniature Jumpman logo attached to the semi-translucent heel clip, reflecting the visual charm of its "Lapis" associate from March. Depicting the celestial dome at twilight, the effervescent color scheme is mirrored onto the sole for a marbled effect, while cosmic imprints envelop the insoles and supplementary hang tags.
Grab an official look at the Air Jordan 37 “Dongdan” here below, and expect to see these roll out at select Jumpman cohorts over the summer season in both kids (pictured) and adults sizing.
