The Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” is currently expected to return in Fall 2027.
Originally released in 1989, the “Fire Red” was one of the four original Air Jordan 4 colorways. The white, black, Fire Red, and Tech Grey makeup has since become one of the most recognizable versions of the silhouette.
The colorway has returned twice since its original release, first in 2006 and again in 2012. Both retros replaced the original Nike Air heel branding with the Jumpman.
That changed in 2020, when the “Fire Red” returned with Nike Air branding and a shape designed to more closely match the 1989 original.
For 2027, the Air Jordan 4 is expected to get another round of updates. Early information points to a shape and toe box that are closer to the OG, along with updated mesh and netting and improved cushioning.
The release is currently expected to arrive in full-family sizing during Fall 2027. Jordan Brand has not officially announced the release, so pricing, and a specific date remain unknown.
