The Air Jordan 4 “Bred” is set to make its long-awaited return in Holiday 2026—this time in a true-to-OG build. Following the recent “Bred Reimagined” release and the widely praised 2019 retro, Jordan Brand will shift back to original specifications for its next run of the iconic 1989 colorway.

The “Bred” Jordan 4 has always carried a legacy beyond its visuals. It’s the shoe tied to “The Shot,” a defining moment of Michael Jordan’s early playoff brilliance, and a pillar of Tinker Hatfield’s most influential designs. While the 2019 edition brought back Nike Air branding, this 2026 retro aims for full authenticity, restoring the OG shape, materials, and overall proportions that collectors have been asking for.

Details remain under wraps, but expectations point to classic black nubuck, Cement Grey and Fire Red accents, and Nike Air heel branding—delivered in a build closer to the ’89 original than recent iterations. With Jordan Brand’s renewed focus on accurate retro craftsmanship, the 2026 “Bred” 4 is poised to be the most faithful modern interpretation yet.

Given the significance of the silhouette and the renewed push toward true-to-OG releases, anticipation is already high. The sneaker is expected to release during the Holiday 2026 season through Nike SNKRS and select retailers.

Stay tuned for first looks and confirmation details as the Air Jordan 4 OG "Bred" approaches its return later next year. For now enjoy a closer look at the 2019 pair credits to GOAT.
