We’re coming agonizingly close to receiving the first-ever retro of the OG Air Jordan 4 Military Blue, with Jordan Brand preparing to break our hearts once more with another hurtful tease. After the OG appeared as a golf shoe in late 2021, many were speculating a fully-fledged retro to follow. But as it turns out, Jordan Brand has something different in store: an Air Jordan 4 “Military Black”
Sneaker-insiders @zSneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles have delivered the half-devastating news that we will likely have to wait even longer for the OG, with Jordan Brand giving us a blackout version instead. That is, the titular Military Blue will be replaced with black on this upcoming release for Summer 2022, hence we’ve given it the name the Air Jordan 4 “Military Black”. the sources suggest that the pair will arrive in identical tooling and blocking to the OG, save the Jumpman in the rear, and the color swap from blue to black — and that surely means we’ll see endless OG-inspired customs on the ‘gram shortly after release.
