UNC Basketball Flexes Air Jordan 4 PE Ahead of March Madness 2025

It pays to play for a Jordan Brand-sponsored basketball program. With the March Madness tournament still months away, 10 top NCAA squads unveiled their Player-Exclusive (PE) Air Jordan retros for 2025.

Unsurprisingly, Michael Jordan's alma mater–the University of North Carolina–had its Tar Heels share their special Air Jordan 4 covered in 'Pacific Blue' flair. The pair is far from the school's first exclusive retro (and surely won't be the last). Akin to its predecessors, the shoes feature the basketball team's primary hues across the upper and sole unit. And if that didn't scream UNC enough, direct nods to the Tar Heels arrive via the lace dubrae and a golden, jewel-encrusted Jumpman hangtag.

Other programs treated to their own AJ4 retros this season include the Howard University Bison, University of Michigan Wolverines, and Marquette University Golden Eagles.
