"Laser" Air Jordan 4s Return Spring 2027 as $500 Pack
Longtime fans of the Air Jordan 4 "Laser" retros, rejoice! Both "White" and "Black" special-edition releases from 2005 are coming back during the Spring 2027 season as part of the first-ever Michael Jordan face box pack for the AJ4.
The reliable sneaker leaking duo of Sneaker Files and X user @zSneakerHeadz put the world on notice about the return of the ornate Air Jordans, but a source close to Jordan Brand confirmed to House of Heat° that the 21-year-old retros will release as a "super limited" $500 pack. This marks the first time that MJ's eponymous label will offer two different pairs of the Air Jordan 4 together.
The occasion will celebrate Mark Smith's Laser design, which revolutionized the way NIKE, Inc. could manufacture items a little over 20 years ago. His innovative approach to footwear allowed Jordan Brand to enhance its storytelling, as laser-engraving details could be etched into footwear uppers with more refinement and precession. This technological advancement was pushed to market via the now-iconic "Laser" Air Jordan 4s, but it was famously used used in 2003 for a one-of-one Air Jordan 3 gifted to "His Airness"
The Air Jordan 20 famously used lasered-detailing, bringing the novel technology to Jordan Brand's marquee expression of performance basketball in '05.

Each "Laser" AJ4 retro is steeped in Chicago Bulls history. Hits of white, black, and red land across the duo, although one style remains truer to the original "Fire Red" Air Jordan 4 from 1989. Both pairs modified by Smith feature Jumpman logos on the spine instead of "Nike Air" messaging, allowing Jordan Brand to continue cementing its standalone branding in the early 2000s. Top-quality leather appeared on both styles in '05 and the Spring 2027 retros are expected to feature impressive leather quality as well.
The $500 "Laser" Air Jordan 4 pack will usher in an initiative that fans of the brand have requested over the years. Throughout the late 2000s, the eponymous imprint was known for its "Defining Moments" and "Countdown" Packs. These two-pair box sets were always rooted in a story or concept, allowing Jordan's signature series to transcend product.
Jordan Brand's limited-edition pack will feature an updated shape and comfort. Team Jumpman previously worked with the Nike SB team to modify Tinker Hatfield's design from '89 to perform well in skateboarding. The "Laser" AJ4 will continue to showcase the label's ongoing commitment to perfect its beloved designs—something that's been seen in 2026 as part of the Air Jordan 6's 35th anniversary.

Both white and black "Laser" Air Jordan 4 retros are slated to release as a two-pair pack during February 2027. Firm release details haven't been disclosed by any party involved, but it's likely the $500 box set launches through SNKRS and an ultra-limited list of retailers.
Stay tuned for more details.
Away from the world of M.J., Jordan Brand will outfit the Brazil national football team during the 2026 World Cup™ tournament.
