The Air Jordan 4 RM Gets A "Military Black" Update

Jordan Brand's Air Jordan 4 RM is not replacing the original edition of His Airness' fourth signature sneaker in relevance or popularity, but it's developed its own loyal following since debuting last year.

Throughout its lifespan, the sneaker has emerged in a plethora of color schemes, with the debut two being courtesy of BMX athlete, Nigel Sylvester. No other makeover has been able to replicate the fervor inspired by the New Yorker's collaboration, but the restomod version has found some success via a number of Air Jordan 4 color schemes.

For its latest offering, the modern offering seemingly draws design cues from both Nike SB's Jordan 4 projects and the "Military Black" retro from 2022. The reworked upper keeps a relatively simple color palette, with suede reinforcement around the forefoot and vamp opting for a light grey. The remainder of the leather, textile, and synthetic construction favors a pure "White" look, with "Black" contrast arriving via the inner lining and Nike Air branding on the heel. Underfoot, the color story stays similar, although tried-and-proven traction gets a skateboarding-appropriate "Gum" brown finish.

Firm release details haven't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but the "White/Black" Jordan 4 RM should hit Nike.com/Jordan throughout autumn. The pair is priced at $150.
