“Easter” Air Jordan 5 Arrives for Kids in April

Easter Air Jordans have always been a contentious issue for the old heads. Granted, they are almost exclusively made for kids, but it doesn’t stop the boomers from complaining about a “ruined legacy”. Damn, man, just let the kids enjoy their kicks! This year’s pair is, of course, the Air Jordan 5, which is currently celebrating its 30th birthday, and it arrives in bold fashion.

Arriving more toned-down than year’s past, the pair arrives in a clean white base — including white rubber outsoles — and is popped with a myriad of Easter-themed hues. The upper is flecked in a formation that’s familiar to Easter Egg lovers the world over, with soft purple liners and vivid Laser Crimson branding and midsole teeth. Strangely, the pair is capped off with a white rubber outsole, the first time we can recall that the pair has ditched the semi-translucent finish.
