Where to Buy the Air Jordan 5 “Jade Horizon”

Despite officially closing off its 30th-anniversary celebrations in 2020, it’s evident that Jordan Brand is not quite done in honoring the Air Jordan 5. This year saw the return of the revered “Raging Bull” and “Oreo”colorways, along with new entries from the “Stealth 2.0”, “Anthracite”, “Orange Blaze” and “Bluebird”. But before the year is through, Jordan Brand has one more delivery in store: the Air Jordan 5 “Jade Horizon”

Penned for a December 5th release, the aged-look release lends it’s entire upper to fine nubuck in the titular green hue that rests atop a bold black midsole. Pre-yellowed eyestays, lace locks, and outsoles give the pair some vintage flair, and the pair also hints at its own heritage with a flecked silver forefoot detail. Back up top, the liners, tongues, and laces opt for a light grey finish, with barely-there pinks popped in at the tongue liner and brand embroidery to complete the colorway.

According to reports, the release of the Air Jordan 5 “Jade Horizon” has been pushed back from its originally scheduled release on November 27th, 2021 to March 25th, to April 9th. This is the latest in a long line of pushbacks suffered by the brand, again likely due to manufacturing and shipping constraints caused by the COVID pandemic. If you can’t wait for the retail release, pairs are already available on the aftermarket from stores like GOAT and Flight Club.
