Update 03.21.19 // Your best look yet at the “Top Three” Air Jordan 5 have arrived. Grab an eyeful of the on-foot and in-studio galleries a little further on, and check out the OG post below for all the info you need to know.

OG Post 10.04.19 // 2020 marks the 30th anniversary for the beloved Air Jordan 5. When it first touched down in 1992, it was like nothing we’d ever seen before. It was the first hoops sneaker to don the now-infamous and widely used 3M reflective tech, and it’s fighter jet-inspired, hight-tongued, padded ankled aesthetic became an instant classic. Now, to go along with a slew of Jordan 5 releases for 2020 (including an Alternate Purple Grape and the return of the OG “Fire Red 3M”) comes this a celebratory “Top Three” Air Jordan 5, which honors the three remaining OG colorways that won’t be seeing a release in 2020.

Grab a detailed look at the pair in question below, and watch out for these to touch down at select stores and Nike.com on May 30th, 2020, for $200. As always, keep your eyes glued to our Twitter feed for further updates, including a list of retailers who’ll be stocking to drop.

Update 01.03.19 // First Looks at the Air Jordan 5 “Top Three” have arrived, and — contrary to our initial speculative mock-up (pictured further below) the pair won’t arrive mismatched. The black-based pair focuses on the OG Black Metallic and features elements from the other two OG’s not releasing in 2020, including the Black Tongue Fire Red and Grape. The pair comes complete with Nike Air and vintage 23 PE branding on the lateral, and a special interior tongue tag.

Take a peep at the updated Mock-up below, along with a first in-hand look of the pair, and look out for these to touch down at select stores and Nike.com on May 16th, 2020, for $200.

OG Post 10.04.19 //  News broken by @Mr_Unloved1s has pegged the pair, which is said to incorporate the Fire Red (Black Tongue), Black Metallic and Grape colorways, for release at some stage in 2020 — but that’s all the info we have at the minute. From that info, we’ve whipped up another “What The”-style colorway for the 5 — but like our original mock-up of this year’s Air Jordan 4 “What The”, the blocking will likely change. Here’s hoping we get one black and one white shoe this time! Stay tuned for more info over the coming months.
