There seems to be a running theme with Jordan Brand’s releases of late, with the brand borrowing colorways from one silhouette to repurpose on another. The evidence is there; the Air Jordan 3 “Cardinal,” Air Jordan 13 “French Blue,” and the Air Jordan 5 “Concord” all feature rented color schemes — and so does this new Air Jordan 6 “Cool Grey”

According to @soleretriever, the pair is directly inspired by the Air Jordan 11 of the same name, despite not featuring and of the signature patent leather that makes the Air Jordan 11 iconic. What you can expect, though, is soft nubuck upper with Carmine-like white leather overlays, and grey accents along with the tongue, heel, and midsole — the latter blocking in “Maroon” styling. All of this will come packaged in a special-edition box.

Pairs of the Air Jordan 6 “Cool Grey” are currently scheduled for February 4, 2023, and will release in full-family sizing.
