Official Looks at the Air Jordan 8 Quai 54

Summer in Paris is something else — from the annual Tour de France to Rolland Garros to this Year’s Womens FIFA World Cup, the middle-of-the-year sporting feels in the City of Love cannot be replicated. Another of the Summertime sporting event that is earmarked on the Parisian Summer sporting calendar is the Quai 54 Basketball Tournament, set to take place on June 22nd and 23rd. The only Streetball tournament to be sponsored by Jordan Brand has been trucking along since 2004, it has seen its fair share of tournament-specific sneaker releases over the past 15 years. This year sees not only an Air Jordan 1 Mid, but also an Air Jordan 8 — which we get a first look at below.

The Jordan 8 Quai 54 features a black upper comprised of suede on heavy-duty mesh, similar to that of the Air Jordan 8 “Air Raid.” Vibrant geometric prints engulf the entire rear panels and insoles, with the colors also hitting the terry toweling tongues, the right sporting the French national colors, the left likely reserved for the tournament’s 2019 theme colors. Translucent strap buckles, a smokey transparent mudguard, and icy soles complete the design.
