Ghana-based collective FREE THE YOUTH has been championing African fashion, craftsmanship, and community projects since 2013. More recently, the imprint has gotten the attention of Nike, Inc., which has invited it to work on a number of projects.

Following a Friends & Family-exclusive take on the Air Jordan 1, FREE THE YOUTH is expected to finally launch a proper Jumpman-branded collaboration to the masses—and a highly-popular Air Jordan 3 at that.

According to the trio of Sneaker Market, Sneaker Files, and X user @zSneakerHeadz, the retro style joins Team Jumpman's Holiday 2026 lineup. The pair sees a "Black/Black/Pink Prime /Clear Jade" color scheme presented in a gradient fashion between right and left shoes. Punchy green flair animates "FTY" branding on the spine, replacing traditional logos on Tinker Hatfield's classic design. Underfoot, the Air-assisted sole unit opts for a pitch-dark finish that allows the top-half to revel in the spotlight.

Stay tuned for detailed product images of FREE THE YOUTH's AJ3. The sneaker is currently expected to launch in the first-half of December:

    • Friday, Dec. 4, across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
    • Friday, Dec. 11, via Nike SNKRS and select NBHD Stores
