Are These an Alternate Version Of Kawhi Leonard’s “Think 16”?
Same same but different.
To close out last year’s NBA season, Nike and it’s subsidiaries, Jordan Brand, and Converse, dropped an epic collection of 16 iconic sneakers which honored incredible Championship moments form it’s wearers. It was labelled “Think 16”, but was officially named the “Art Of A Champion” collection.
For most of us, there was one standout sneaker: the chromed-out Air Jordan 1, which paid tribute to Kawhi Leonard’s MVP performance in the 2014 NBA finals — a then passing of the torch from the old firm of Timmy D, Manu and Tony to the young star. That ship may have sailed, but the sneaker still holds clout today — and a hefty resale price tag to match.
If you’re still feeling that steez but don’t want to break the bank, these unofficial alternate Mids are just made for you!
They may come without an entire metallic silver upper, transparent soles and golden Larry O’Brien Trophy hangtag, but the tasteful use of black and white with it’s just-perfect balance use of metallic silver stands up strongly.
Pairs are available right now at Shoe Palace, with more expected to arrive at a handful of other select retailers over the coming weeks.
