Awake NY founder Angelo Baque has shared a closer look at two unreleased Jordan Brand samples, offering a look at alternate versions of the brand’s ongoing collaboration with Jumpman.
The first pair is the Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 "Midnight Navy" sample, shown in a blue-based colorway with pink stitching, navy overlays, and black detailing across the midsole and heel. The biggest change comes at the midfoot, where Awake NY branding appears across the side panel instead of the more traditional Jordan 6 setup. The pair also features a Nike Air-style heel tab, visible Air cushioning, and speckled midsole details.

Baque also shared a new Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 sample. Unlike the release pairs, which placed Awake NY branding within the side caging, this sample moves the “NY” embroidery toward the heel. Awake branding also appears around the sockliner, giving the pair a cleaner side profile while still keeping the New York label’s identity visible.

The Air Jordan 5 sample arrives in a mostly white leather build with teal accents across the midsole, inner lining, and heel embroidery. Additional details include translucent side netting, speckled shark teeth on the midsole, a stitched Jumpman outline near the heel, and Awake NY hangtag branding.
It is not likely that either sample will see a retail release. For now, both pairs appear to be early or alternate versions from Awake NY and Jordan Brand’s collaborative archive.
Stay tuned for more updates if additional details surface.
For Air Jordans that will be releasing, Jordan Brand is set to release a pretty pink "China Rose" Air Jordan 6 Low soon.
