Bursting onto the NBA scene with his quickness, athleticism, and monster dunk package, the 1st overall selection from 2009 in Blake Griffin was quickly snapped up as a Jordan Brand athlete. The level of excitement that big Blake brought to the league was unmatchable at the time, and so too were his player-exclusive Air Jordan retros gifted by the brand, such as his well-documented pairs like the Air Jordan 11 “Sooners” PE. One of his lesser-known exclusives was 2016’s “Red Camo” Air Jordan 10, which has reappeared today courtesy of rare sneaker collector English Sole
Resting atop a red-streaked icy-translucent rubber outsole, the pair brings in two major tones up top: Red and Black. The latter coats the midsoles, as well at the leather upper and tongue, with vibrant, textured red overlays draped on top. Ribbon eyestays are dyed to match, with liners, insoles, and rear pulls rocking red camo. The pair is completed by Griff’s #32 on the lateral ankle, and his trademarked logo on the insole.
