Welcome back, Melo.
Last night, future Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony returned to the hardwood for his new franchise, the Portland Trailblazers, for his first game in over a year after departing Houston in unfortunate circumstances. But thought it all, Melo stayed mellow. He knew deep down he’d be back, and I think we all dod, too — regardless of all the internet trolls. Granted, Anthony didn’t put up a performance to be proud of, dropping 10 points and collecting four rebounds off 4-14 shooting (there was a TON of no-calls in the post, mind you) — but we’re just glad to see him back. More importantly, we’re just glad to see him happy.
With Melo’s back in action, you can expect to see some Air Jordan 34 PEs heading his way very soon — and we’ve got the ball rolling with a trio of Melo Concept colorways, including both a ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ Trailblazer take, as well as a pair that’s tributed to Oak Hill Academy, where Melo played his high school hoops.
