Concept Lab // Jay-Z x Air Jordan 4 “Reasonable Doubt”

    Can’t Knock the Hustle.

    Today’s concept actually exists.

Roc-a-fella co-founder Biggs Burke is the only person on earth to own these “Reasonable Doubt” Air Jordan 4’s — inspired by the classic album from his good friend and Roc-a-fella co-founder, Jay-Z. The self-funded album was the pivotal moment for Jay and co., skyrocketing them and Roc-a-fella into the mainstream. They then went on to sign some huge acts, including Cam’ron and Kanye West (yes, we have Biggs and Jay to blame.)

And just like the classic 1996 album, this custom pair is right up there with the best.

Biggs’ actual PE is exactly as you see it here below, is based off the Pure Money Air Jordan 4, with unique color blocking blacked out, capped off with album artwork tongue patches in place of the traditional Jumpmen.

Biggs’ 1 of 1 “Reasonable Doubt” customs

The pair surfaced back in 2017, in celebration of the return of the Roc-a-fella Air Force 1 which originally released back in 2004 and again 2007. And it looked like Jordan Brand’s PE might even get a release, with Biggs taking to the gram with an on foot shot along with one simple caption: “coming soon . . .?”

    Let’s hope so.
